First Visit

The first visit is an important step towards building a positive relationship and establishing trust between the pediatric dentist and your child. Our office, as well as the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Academy of Pediatrics all recommend establishing a Dental Home for your child by one year of age. This allows your child to receive oral health care in a comprehensive, coordinated, and family-centered way. We will discuss normal dental development, teething, home care, proper fluoride regimen and diet. We will address any concerns you may have about your child’s oral health.

Our goal is to prevent the formation of cavities and gum disease and set a foundation for great dental health that can last a lifetime.
