February is National Children’s Dental Health Month

The American Dental Association began National Children’s Dental Health Month to raise awareness about the importance of oral health. Eagle Crest Pediatric Dentistry celebrates this month—and emphasizes year-round attention to children’s dental health. Our mission is to help children get a good start on a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums.

We encourage parents to begin teaching their children about dental care habits before their first tooth has emerged. This includes proper brushing techniques, familiarity with flossing, healthy snacks, and scheduling routine dental visits.

We target the message of proper dental care and healthy snacks to preschool children by creating whimsical characters and engaging them in fun oral health-related activities.
